About the Hableland Sisters
Long known as darlings of the textile and design industries, Athens, GA-based sisters Susan and Katharine Hable layer color, texture, and form fusing an authentic sophistication and sturdy timelessness into all of their work. Hable Design creates bold graphic designs featuring Susan’s colorful hand-drawn patterns and shapes that over the years have become the hallmark of their aesthetic. The sisters founded their design company, Hable Construction, in New York City in 1999. Susan and Katharine named Hable Construction after their Texan great grandfather’s twentieth century road construction business.
